Risum Boxing & Sauerland Event Settlement
NOW Poulsen can be a Sauerland-boxer!
05.02.2010 | By Risum Boxing
In regards to the management contract of Danish
lightweight Kim Poulsen, Henrik Risum today confirms
that a settlement between Risum Boxing and Sauerland
Event is finalized.
Risum Boxing has received an agreed amount from
Sauerland Event, releasing Poulsen from the remaining
period of his contract with Risum Boxing.
Henrik Risum:
“Only now is Kim free from his contract with Risum
Boxing, and I have today informed the German federation
(BDB), where Kim is licensed, that he is now able to
sign with any other manager and/or promoter he may
wish.”
“Despite the fact that I feel disrespected and poorly
treated by Kim and Sauerland Event, I wish everybody
good luck in the future. Kim is, in my opinion, the
brightest talent in Danish professional boxing, and I
only wish things had been handled in a proper way.”
“While I at the moment have a strong desire to put Kim
Poulsen and everything connected to Kim Poulsen behind
me, I do hope that as time goes by I will also be able
to feel proud when he reaches the top one day”.
Kim Poulsen was managed by Risum Boxing from his
professional debut in September 2006, and the
cooperation reached its high-point in June 2009 when
Poulsen won an Intercontinental title in his hometown
Horsens.
